Community Support Program
We believe every child deserves access to quality education, facilities, and a safe and nurturing environment. We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children from underprivileged communities, serving as a catalyst for upliftment in impoverished areas.
Our current initiatives encompass a diverse range of programs and include amongst others a community kitchen, a collaborative venture establishing an Early Childhood Development Centre, the inception of a Sports Academy, alongside our Annual Festive Treat Box Drive and Annual School Recycling Drive aimed at equipping children in need with essentials for school.
Our objective is to enable children to cultivate essential skills and the self-assurance necessary to unlock their full potential. We are dedicated to empowering children from underprivileged communities, with the aspiration to create jobs by involving community members in these initiatives, contingent upon securing adequate funding. Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty, forging pathways to brighter futures for both children and their families.

Community Kitchen
Situated in Onderstegaaitjie, more commonly referred to as Covid Valley, Smutsville, this kitchen is a beacon of hope for the local community.
SPORTS & Life Skills ACADEMY
We understand that not all children are academically inclined; every child has unique talents and strengths which should be developed and nurtured.
Early Development Centre
Cherished is thrilled to partner with Masithandane, a well established, highly respected community organisation, on our early development center initiative.
Annual Festive Treat Box
Cherished’s annual Christmas treat box initiative has become a much-anticipated event for the children of Smutsville. Supplying 250 children with a box of treats, has steadily grown to reach 700 children last year.
